Hey, Faithful Followers!
Here’s the next Weekly Wishlist! I know, I’m behind by several weeks. Been really busy.
My first book is My Boyfriends’ Dogs by Dandi Daley Mackall. I first heard about this book in a convocation I attended (Which was encouraging reading). I found it interesting and added it to my to-read list. That was two years ago. I still plan on reading it, if I ever get to it. It is about a high school girl whose boyfriends (plural) leave her with their (the two of them) dogs. So she is ranting about how they left her with three dogs or something. She just wants a good boyfriend. The book starts out with her walking into a diner a soaking wet prom dress and her three dogs in tow. It is a romance novel, so be warned, guys. I just thought it was interesting. Read the rest of this entry →
Sorry I’m late… but here’s another four books I look forward to reading! The GoodReads summaries are linked to the book titles, for your convenience and reading pleasure.
A Great and Terrible Beauty By Libba Bray
A Great and Terrible Beauty has been recommended to me numerous times. I’m excited to read this book (as always!) but I don’t know when I will have time to! I’m so busy at the moment…*looks at date, says “Oh, crap, I was supposed to do that yesterday!* The story sounds interesting.
The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold
The Lovely Bones sounds like an excellent book. People have talked about it, off-handedly, saying how good it was. I look forward to enjoying it, though I don’t know when! When I do, the review will be on here soon!
The Speed of Dark by Elizabeth Moon
The Speed of Dark has been recommended to me by my friend, Jon. The protagonist is autistic, if I remember right. It’s Sci-fi, so I’m looking forward to reading it!
Divergent by Veronica Roth
Divergent has been talked about a lot, so I want to read it to find out what everyone is talking about. Looking forward to it, like every other book on my giant to-read list! Just another series of books I’d like to read and review!
Today I invite you to recommend books and discuss books you have had recommended to you.
Today I am starting what, I hope, is a weekly post about books I want to read. I invite you to discuss what you are currently reading or plan to read. I will post four books that I want to read, with a link to their synopsis on Goodreads, for your use.
The City of Fallen Angels! Presumably a great book, considering all the other before it that were excellent! I totally love Cassandra Clare! It’s mainly paranormal action/romance. I love it! Read the rest of this entry →
